My first post
My computer starts making cracking sounds from the speakers often and after sometime I get a message of USB Device Failure after which my modem [connected to the USB] stops to function.
I have tried to solve this issue by going to the device manager and scanning for hardware changes but this problem still remains.
My PC is connected via an UPS, so I don't think that an external power spike might be doing this.
Really worried..it would be great if anyone can shed some light on this.
