Ok, first off, I don't appreciate you slamming me on the PC I just suggested you. Sorry for taking
MY time to help you out. Next time, if you're goign to complain, don't make threads about what you should get.
But, because I'm a nice and forgiving person, I'll give you some tips when choosing cards, that and knowing facts from fiction...
The X1900XT is a better card then the 7600GT. Infact, the 7600GT isn't even meant to compete against it. Let's compare shall we! 24 pixel shader processors, or 48? No, not pixel PIPELINES, but,
pixel shader processors. The X1900XT has 48 of them, compared to the 24 or possibly even lower amoutn then the 7600GT's. But hey, if you still want to think that the 7600GT is better, go right ahead, I'll just show you benchmarks and that will be that.
Next tip. Did I ever once say you HAD to buy an X1900XT, or a Combo Drive, which you obviously don't know what a combo drive even is. A combo drive is simply that, it combines a DVD-R/W drive with a CD-R/W drive, into one complete package. But hey, if you want to buy two drives and end up spending more, by all means, go right ahead, heck, it's not my money, so what do I care?
Another tip! If you want to buy an LCD monitor, go right ahead, but please, don't go saying you can buy a OMFG!!! MOUSE! and a
KEYBOARD with that O'so much cash you'll be saving. Dude, a Mouse and Keyboard combo costs about $15. So please, don't even try using that as an excuse.
Next tip! If you want a better case, then buy one. Don't go and complain how you can get O SO MUCH BETTER!!! What more can a case offer besides...
- Side Panel Window
- 450W PSU
- Cost under $30
- And look good
And for the record, no, I'm not flaming you. You just happen to be complaining when I spent good time finding you a VERY nice PC, when I could very well be sleeping, and now look at the time! In the time it took to critisize the living hell out of you, I could have gotten another 15 minutes of sleep! Shame on you!
