CPU Usage

hey guys, my pc has developed another problem now. I have core 2 duo processor with 2 GB RAM. When i bought it, the My Computer properties showed 2.93GHz , 1.93GHz, but now it is showing 2.93GHz , 2.93GHz without any software running on it. Task manager shows 50% CPU usage, don't know why.

IN the processes tab, filter the precesses buy CPU usage and see what number is highest. Make sure you show processes from all uses as well!
