Default CPU Temperature Monitoring Program

I've heard there's a few programs which monitor your CPU temperature and do a number of other things temperature related. I've googled it but get nothing but rubbish right now, So if anyone's got any they've been using a while which work well, I'd appreciate your input.

Cheers.

i use speedfan and if you are worried about it over heating you can allow speedfan to change the fan speeds for you.
