Default CPU temperature change

I just got a new Sony LCD. Temperature of my CPU has dropped about
7 c. Any one know way this happen ?

Was your old monitor a CRT? Was it sitting close to your computer? Maybe the comp was picking up some temp from your monitor? I know my room is much cooler since I went to an LCD ;P

Yes it was a CRT about a foot away from the computer. And yes even my room its cooler. I gues that answerd my question. Thank you all
