AMD Athlon XP 3200+ is the best that will go in that box.
Since you have an Nforce2, its a much better overclocker you might try overclocking it as long as you've got a decent cooler. CPU: Athlon XP 3200+ AXDA3200DKV4E socket 462 FREE SHIPPING | eBay Cooler: Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS7000B-Cu LED 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan Yes. the Zalman 7000 has brackets for 462/A HOWEVER, you might as well buy a new system, thats 8 years old. Here's a good system. I know some of the other forum members will dis it for being slow compared to an "I7 2600k" or "Xeon X999999999999", but its at least 5 times faster than an XP 3200. Memory: Newegg.com - PNY Optima 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model MD4096KD2-800 Motherboard: Newegg.com - MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 AM3/AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE Micro ATX AMD Motherboard CPU: Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X2 260 Regor 3.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor ADX260OCGMBOX Graphics: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100293L Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card As long as you have a copy of your origional OS (Windows XP/2k/ME) You should be able to rebuild it with that.
