Default CPU runnning hot

Hey guys

My cpu seems to be running hot. Lately it has been running at 54-55 degrees under full load. Is this bad? It has never ran this hot before and I was wondering if I have a problem with something. All my fans (cpu and the 3 case fans) are running properly and the computer is clean. Btw I have an Amd 3500+.

Thanks

Does the cpu have a heat sink on it?

dust build up could be your problem or try not running uneeded programs when doing something. also if you want, try opening the side of the case and run it like that when under heavy load.

As I said in the first post the computer is clean. I recently cleaned it (dust free). Well when it is running under full load I only have one thing running (f.e.a.r). So I know those two things aint the problem.

I have monitored my computer/cpu temp since I got it and it has never been over 50 until recently.

the only program i have installed recently is f.e.a.r. I will check for virus.
But why would that make the cpu run hot?
