yes that board is fine. this isn't a bad thing but i have never seen a PCI-E x4 slot. i knew they were out there just never saw one.

Yeah, that's true. I think it was either pci ex. 16x or agp 8x/4x. Either one.

it has 2 PCI-E x16 slots and a PCI-E x1 to along with a PCI-E x4

I just noticed something, the Venice CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103533 only has 2.2GHz operating frequency. Isn't that a bit low?

No, thats high for an AMD.. its probally about a P4 3.4 or whatever..

Yeah AMD's are rated alot different..

Like an AMD 64-bit say 3500+ is only like 2.4/2.6 right ? but it will beat the hell out of a 3.4/3.6 Intel ..... currect my numbers if their off guys .
