Default Cpu help

Hey guys quick question, if I was to use a intel celeron D 356 would it work in a 1155 socket? It's currently in a 775. Any help would be appreciated,

As BikerEcho said that wouldn't work and if you even tried you would get some problems and possibly damage the CPU and maybe motherboard.

you wont even be able to put the CPU in the sucked.
it simply doesn't fit.

Nope, think of it this way, if you tried to plug a 3-pronged plug into a 2-prong outlet - wont work at all. 1155 socket needs a 1155 socket.
