Default CPU Fan Speed

Hey guys,
I have a Zalman 9700NT for my cpu cooler and I was just wondering how fast it should be going. I never played around with any of the settings and it usually is around 2710-2755 rpms. Currently it is at 2743rpms and my cpu temp is 32C. Is this normal or too fast? Thanks.

I take it you have Q-fan disabled then. That's about the rpm mine runs with Q-fan disabled.

I never enabled it. The fact of slow rotating CPU fan is making me kinda...I dunno, insecure.

What's the point in the fan sounding like a jet engine all the time when the fan can be slowed down and the temperatures still remain safe?

It's a sub menu in Hardware Monitor (Power Tab) for my board, it may be different for yours
