What are the chronological orders for AMD and Intel processors?

Intel is top dog right now for almost everything. I see no reason why you would opt for an AMD, unless you are on an extreme budget build. But for any other reason, AMD is not the way to go.

i personaly prefer AMD although Intel has owned AMD lately.

ive used Intel for every PC ive ever used from Pentium Pro up to P4. but I now have an AMD 4600+ X2 and love it... though i cant say ive used a Core 2...but my buddy just bought an E6400 for his new build soo ill see how mine compares to him and give you an update either this weekend or next week lol...

so as of right now...i prefer AMD

It's always going back and forth between these two companies. Report has it that AMD's going to make a comeback next year with their new line of CPUs.

As of now, Intel is the way to go. AMD was the best for gaming last year though.
