how many slot types are there? and If I buy a slot 939(hypothetically not sure if one exists) AMD and my comp is Intel will the slot upgrade affect it. If it does can I upgrade from a 2.4 Ghz to a 3.00 with the right processor?
There are tons of socket types mate. The best thing to do would be to download everest or sisoft sandra and run that. That will tell you what your mobo model is, then it will be easier to help you mate.
