You are using Firefox 3 right? I think the problem might be fixed by replacing the 'Chrome' folder inside the Firefox directory.
**This may cause more problems** because i don't know enough to give you a sure fire answer. Maybe some other members can help me out with this one.
Either way, i believe replacing the folder might solve your problem. I will post a link up to mine once i get a chance.
