Default Core 2 Duos, E6600 vs E6700

Is there much of a difference at all? Any links to benchmarks with these processors?

The E6600 runs at 2.40 ghz and the E6700 runs at 2.66 ghz. Also the prices are different. The E6600 is about $320 whild the E6700 runs at about $500-$550.

in terms of performance, they should be pretty similar, the E6600 losing out a little due to lack of clock speed. In real world performance? No difference.

6700 is pretty much wasteful to buy... 6600 FTW.

Yea the E6700 is no where near worth the extra $200 price jump. You can EASILY overclock the E6600 to 2.66
