Default Core 2 Duo System, Motherboard, and Ram.

Ok, I SUCK at picking out good motherboards and ram.

I need some ideas on what to get off of newegg. The only decent looking motherboard I can find seems to be very picky about ram...

heads up: the budget is $1,000, i'd like to have no more than $350 spent on the motherboard and ram.

ahhh, here we go. haha. Hmmm, no more than 350 for motherboard an RAM. So lets see, nvidia chipsets are out of the question, as are 975x. So that leaves P965 chipset.

-gigabyte P965 S3, same as DS3, but with a little less bells and whistles

PQI Turbo PC2-5400, I've heard good things about these. Probably not the best overclocking modules you can get, but they are pretty darn good for the money.
