yeah im upgrading soon...im thinking just teh E6300 with prolly 1gb dual channel or maybe 2gb and a 7600gt.....that should run beautifully...mayb sli later....will these run in the socket LGA 775??? thx


also when games r actually made with dual core support these things will do even better!

Yes, Core 2 Duo still is Socket T (LGA775), but you need motherboards that have the revised chipsets for support.

The benchmarks make Conroe looks great. It puts the FX line to shame in terms of pricing and quality of product. I already made a thread about the Conroe mobo's, telling people they can't use their current lga775.
