ok well, my cheap ass psu literally blew up last week, so i got a new one, a coolmax v-500 its not here yet, but was this a good idea?? i dont know crap about psu's so i didnt know if coolmax is good or not... got it for 23 bucks though

Well, you went from a "cheap ass" PSU to just a cheap PSU. It's not the greatest, but it should work Ok for you.

k, its got a one year warranty, so hopefully it will last longer, we shall see
