If you want a quiet system, you can try the BTX case, but that means new motherboards, etc

Water cooling is a safe way to go. Just don't mess around. I know pople that have done it on their first builds. Just be careful, double, a triple check your work. Running water though the tubes to check for leaks is a good idea too.
