Converting IDE to SATA?

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a Hard Drive at Best Buy that was on sale, and later remembered that the hard drive I bought was an Ultra ATA drive, while my motherboard only accepts SATA connections -_- I already have a master hard drive, I just bought this new 120GB drive to store media on so that I do not have to back it up when I reformat my computer.

So ... I think Ultra ATA drives are IDE right? So if you know the most cost-efficient way to use my IDE drive in the SATA environment (providing the connection to the motherboard in some way, along with power to the drive) that would be wonderful.

Thank you for your time!

thanks for the information. That particular piece has a bad review, but I suspect you picked it because of the fact that I was looking for the most cost efficient piece.

I'll look a bit more into it, but now I have a general idea of what I am looking for, so I thank you for that!
