Default convert .wmv videos to .avi?

hi can anyone tell me how i can convert my wmv videos created in movie maker to avi , thanks

i found when i go file save movie file..then chose save to computer, then type name and patch to save...then click next again, i can chose show more options...and i can save it as a dv-avi file...would that be a avi file?

when i save it as a dv-avi file it works good, but its like 294mb for just a couple minutes of video...i'm sure i did this wrong..cause normally people can get like 1-2 hours in .avi format and it will take 700mb

Just use google to fine a .wav to .avi converter..

Whats with the bump, and the triple post. Anyhow do what Marx said, just go on google and look for a wmv to avi converter you will get thousands and thousands of hits. Just try some programs out, and see which one you like the best.

okay, thanks....and for the bump...i thought it was just to get some people to read it where it puts the threads recently posted to first...correct me if i'm wrong...but i always thought thats what it meant
