would that max out crysis .

how are the drivers coming for the 3870x2

LOL good one, max out Crysis, HA there was 4 ATI cards in crossfire trying to run it on max and it couldent a good enough frame rate same with 3 Ultras in SLI.... but yeah i dont see a computer maxing out crysis yet, atleast on vista where it actualy takes full advantage of the game =D

ATI have a new technology called CrossfireX which allows you to run four HD 3800 series cards together. Only available with a AMD 790FX chipset though.

I think they're about the same price as the cheaper X38 boards. AMD's high-end boards are often cheaper than the Intel ones because they don't need the memory controller etc as it's already built into the CPU.

but yea the reference nvidia cooler on the 8800GT insnt very good.

Other Companies like MSI/Gigabyte have done different styles that seem to do a better job.

I know Gainward put a revised cooler on every one of their 8800GT models. I've heard it's a lot better than the stock one.
