computer wont work. please help

I took it to a computer show and when they looked at it they said I mostly fried my Cpu because I didn't put heat sink on it. I didn't because I wanted to test it first so I would have to take it all apart. And they said you never do that. Always put heat sink on Bc it takes 1sec to fry a Cpu.

sorry didn't read last post.

Always put the heatsink on. Unless you have a Via C3, then you never have to use one...
