But does the pc power up? Those will come up on the monitor if you have the monitor turned on but not the computer.

I still have the same old HP DV9700T laptop I've had for years...still kickin'

do you have spacers between your mother board and case? if not it will short and not start

im suprised no one as asked this yet...

do you know if the power supply is good, as in working and if so is it set to the right voltage, i know mine has dual volts it can run at, it would be a little red switch on the back of the PSU (power supply unit). also make sure there isnt an on switch back there that is turned off... i didnt check that once and i let the computer sit for 2 months untill i realized that switch was off. lol

Core I7 920 OC'ed to 3.0Ghz, 6GB G.skill DDR3 1333, Intel DX58SO, 500GB seagate 7200RPM + 320GB seagate, EVGA 9800GTX+ , 600W PSU.
