Exclamation computer wont start

basically you push the on button and the fan inside kicks into life but then dies after about 2 seconds anyone have any ideas whats wrong with this? thought it might be the PSU.

It is a good possibility it is the PSU. Check to make sure all plugs are in correctly and nothing has come loose. I would say the PSU has died.
1st Puter - Intel Pent D 3.4GHz, 2 GIG Ram, GeForce 9800GT, Windows 7 Home.
2nd Puter - AMD Athlon Dual Core 2.69GHz, 2 GIG Ram, GeForce 7600GT, XP Home.
Lappy - Intel Dual Core 1.73GHz, 2 GIG Ram, Vista Home Premium.
