Computer Temps

Hey,

I just replaced my motherboard/case and all my temps are now ALOT cooler, except now I see a temp that I've never seen, AUX.

Here are my temps:

System: 30C
CPU: 25C
AUX: 125C
HD0:38C
CORE 0: 40C
CORE 1: 36C
CORE 2: 34C
CORE 3: 34C

Now, I know 125C is ridiculously high, and it leads me to believe that there may just be something wrong with the sensor/software I am using to read the temps. What is the AUX? Is it like the northbridge or something?

I find it hard to believe that all my temps are this low, and one is that high.

Oh yea, I am using SpeedFan to Check my temperatures.

I am going to book into the BIOS now to see the temps, maybe itll show it more accurately.

i see that temp as well.
also i have a question as well, what is this: IT8718F (its under the Chip column)

I wouldn't worry about the AUX. I'm pretty sure it's just a faulty measurement, most likely the software is trying to display a temperature that there isn't a sensor for. If something would be 125c then I don't think the pc would work anymore.

And yeah, definitely use bios instead of speed fan.

Most likely, the reading is completely bogus. Yet actually, a Intel cpu can still run after 125 but it would already have shut down if it was that high.
