Computer start up problem?

Well I think my batterie is dead and normaly when your batterie dies it just tells you that your bios is set back to normal and hit F1 to continue. Well I restart my computer and it takes me around 5 or 6 of and ons to get the thing started agian. It asks me to hit F1 to continue or delete to enter setup. Could not haveing a good batterie for my bios be causeing that? or would it be something else?

It's possible yeah that your Lithium battery is bad. This could cause data loss on your bios causing you to have to reconfigure it everytime you start up. I don't understand why you'd have to turn your computer on and off 5-6 times though.

Lithium batteries shouldn't be too expensive. Under 10 bucks (probably could find one under 5 tho)
