I just bought a Logitech x-530 and they rock the peak power is 140 w

I believe the Z versions though are better, but for the price, the X versions will probably be worth it, and probably better than my Creative set too.

Also, if you have the money, buy a dedicated sound card. Dedicated will outrule any onboard, evan the cheaper ones.

Thats a Creative isn't it? Yet, it doesn't say it on the description...weird...

But yeah, if you want a good set of speakers, there is no point using onboard sound. The quality of switching to dedicated PCI sound from onboard is impeccable. No more lags in the music when the comptuers working, and no more fuzz from other hardware, etc.

Just plain and simply a much better thing to have.

Na, the people at planet micro are lazzyy! I live like ten minutes from the shop, it's a great shop though, Im in the middle of developing a system for them, voluntary, getting my rep up with them (I want a job there!)

The good thing is, they have like a test PC, and as long as the part is already opened, they will install it in this PC, and you can see what the part is capable of.

Eh, if you're looking for normal performance nothing to heavy, these speakers should do the trick.
