Computer sound to radio??

Is it possible to get sound from a computer to transmit to a radio in my room? Because my radio speakers are really nice and my PC speakers stink (and I can't plug the radio speakers directly into the PC because they use regular wires, and pc speakers use the plugin type)

Are you good at DIY? Just solder the wires together, you could get a wireless transmitter...about 50 quid, ive got one.

yeah, I think this calls for some DIY action.
If u are not a big fan of DIY (is there a male on this planet who is not? ) u could go to some local shops that sell stuff to do with electronics and ask them.

Yeah, the two option that came to mind were soldering some audio jacks on the wires, or using a wireless radio transmitter. The latter is probably the better idea but also more expensive. With the former option, you have to consider resistance and voltage, and audio cards don't power speakers, so unless your radio speakers are powered, it's not a good idea. I'd go wireless.
