Default computer slow

When I try to install the OS it takes like 2 hrs to install, I have did something to the BIOS and it is running extra slow, and it is not reconizeing my ram, whats the problem?

Maybe you should try resetting the BIOS by reading the mobo manual. For me, I need to take the battery out, switch the jumpers on the board for about 10 seconds and then put everything back to normal with the battery back in. But it might be different for other boards, which is why I suggested you read your manual.
