ok my computer is really starting to piss me off... well to start its full of viruses (im pretty sure) right at startup i get a pop-up from my Antivirus saying i have a virus in there somewhere>> C:\WINDOWS\system32

so i did what anybody would do and went to the file and rightclicked and hit scan and well it came up with a virus so i chose "delete" and BitDefender and i quote "You must restart your computer for the changes to come in effect"... so i did... then again at startup it gave me the same thing

and as of now my computer is in a stop and go state... (when i do something, for example typing, it will freeze for a sec then keep going then freeze and so on.. as if something was working in the background)
what should i do???...

an its still doing this to me >>>http://computerforums.org/showthread.php?t=63538

Hmmm I think you may have deleted or damaged a registry file, it might have been better to quarantine it instead, try a registry repair program to see if it fixes it otherwise you might need to try a windows repair off your XP CD.

Jeez, what you have isn't spyware, its a full blown virus. Best thing I know would be something like AVG, Avast or NOD32. If those don't help, you may have to re-format.

AVG: http://www.download.com/3000-2239_4-10761481.html
Avast: http://www.avast.com/
Nod32: http://www.eset.com/
HiJack This: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis
CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Hijack This is probably the most powerful of the 4, but is recommended for the most advanced users only.
If blackjack is right about the registry, CCleaner might help.

What anti virus program do you have?

yeah sounds like it's time to reformat. That would be the easiest and fastest way to make sure the computer is clean from viruses.
