sure, i guess that i can shave a few bucks off if you arent going to be overclocking. im at $650 right now and im trying to see where i can shave off some money.

ok, this is what i have so far and im sure so if someone else could go over it then that would be great.

Case: Antec 300
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129042
$59.95

Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103847
$87.99

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128419
$94.99

RAM: OCZ Gold DDR3 1333MHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227478
$119.99

Harddrive: WD Caviar Black 500GB 7200RPM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136320
$69.99

Graphics Card: XFX ATI HD 4850
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150482
$129.99
or
Sapphire ATI HD 5750
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102859
$134.99

DVD drive: Lite-On SATA DVD burner
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106289
$19.99

PSU: Antec Basiq 500W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371004
$54.99

Total: $637 or $641

I'm not sure which graphics card is better between the 5750 and 4850 so if someone could let me know then that would be great.

There is a chance that you will be able to unlock your processor and make it into a quad core, its pretty easy to do this if you got a decent one.

If you want to get a nicer case then you could upgrade to a HAF 922 for $40.

And finally there are $30 of mail in rebates on that, $20 on the RAM and $10 on the motherboard. I dont think that those were included in the final price.

umm thanks im guessing with all the sales and stuff i could afford windows 7...because like i said vista is mentaly retarded.... umm is there different stages of windows 7... like vista has premium...home and so forth..or is it only 1 stage of it... and does the case really matter ? cause i mean if i have to add in an extra 40 dollers the case better be like a huge fan lol '

i was wondering if i need that big of a hard drive because i guess i only need 300gb ii guess but if the rpm really makes a difference then i guess...umm also i didnt see fans..are they like installed and fully working with the case ?

thanks again (srry that im not that smart on computers again)

sorry, i completely forgot about including windows 7. I'd go for windows 7 home premium, if you go above that then you're paying for features that you dont need.

all the fans that you would need come with the case.

And finally i would go for a 7200RPM harddrive, anything less than that and you would have a serious harddrive bottleneck.

And in the build that i put together i mentioned that you could pick between the two graphics cards. i did a little research about it and the second one is going to be much better.
