Computer Messed

Hey guys, my comp is pretty messed up.

Whenever I have maybe a couple of large programs eg MSN, IE and a game or some stuff like CorelDRAW... It just restarts, no warning nothing.

I have a hunch its to do with the RAM I have 512 Mhrtz but I mean dude thats an alrite amount.

I was wondering if there is any easier and cheaper way to fix this problem rather than by a card to increase RAM???
