Exclamation Computer Memory Problem

Hey all. I'm not sure why this is happening, but it is happening.

As you can see by the image I can't seem to find out why my memory is being eaten up so much.. It's really odd. I reconfigured my entire machine, formatted the partition and reinstalled everything and it still does the same thing.

Here is another one showing the performance, etc.

I'm just not sure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Um...

Maybe taking off some startup processes, and uninstalling stuff you dont use. But thats not that bad, my computer uses 10 less processes with 100mb more memory usage.

I just reconfigured the machine and everytime I run Rhapsody or some program is goes into the 100,000 k mark which is really high. It never used to go that high I don't think. It just seems weird.
