What exactly do you need to learn more about, just how to trouble shoot them, how to build them?? Can you explain a bit here?

That can be done a few ways.

1.) Upgrading parts- CPU, and Memory
2.) Keeping It virus, spyware, and other unwanted programs off your computer by using anti viruses and spyware removal tools. Good free anti virus is AVG Anti virus. Some decent spyware removal tools are Spybot Search and Destroy and windows defender. I am sure other people will recommend additional software as well.
3.) Run Disk Defragmenter and Disc Cleanup in your system tools folder
4.) Best way to make your system all nice and clean and run like it did the first day you got it is to reformat and install a fresh new copy of windows xp or w/e os you are currently using.

Good recommendation. The books for dummies series is great for comptuers. I actually have this one by the same author.

Ram and video card are probably the cheapest, yet most noticeable upgrades when it comes to speed. How much RAM do you have, and what is your video card?

Oh Dudemc, I need to ask you to shorten your sig. The admin wants to keep it to five lines.

probably the best way to learn about computers is build your own, and have a few mistakes. youll understand them more, and youll know the solutions to your own comps problems. Then theres always books and classes which are boring.
