Default computer help

Does anybody know of a website that teaches you how to connect an hp moniter, a hard drive, a disk drive together and a mouse so i can copy my hard drive to a disk.

Huh?!

What you want to do is copy your current hard drive data to another, right?

connecting monitor and mouse is easy they are juast ports on teh back of the computer

My windows 98 computer got struck by lightning about a year ago and I want to copy the hard drive files to a disk

Stick the harddrive in another pc and set it as a slave drive and copy them that way. Do you know if the drive even works. Are the files even important, i mean its taken a year to get round to it

what type of disk?
how did it get struck by lightning?
does the hhd still work?
