Computer freezes when playing games

Found the problem. The inner cooler was not plugged in correctly. The CPU was overheating. Fixed now, thanks everyone for trying to help.

-Get into bios and put any over clocking back to default.
-Run a memory diagnostic to make sure your RAM is not failing by inputting mdsched.exe in cmd.
-Get into device manager and make sure your video card has no errors and update any drivers if needed.
-Becuase the r9 390 is a pretty large card, is it receiving enough airflow?? While checking this, make sure the power connecter to the card and everything in your case looks good.

I bet if you swap that video card out with the the same one it will stop. Not the exact the same one but the same one. lol

He found the problem, it was the CPU cooler not being attached properly

So my wife got it and brought it to bestbuy and I guess it booted right up there. and the only excuse my wife said was the the dude said that it probably fell asleep in the middle of the update. which is bs.
I have no idea im so confused. I pressed all the buttons, i opened the case, I slapped the it around I plugged it in with no light indications and now it suddenly works.
