Check out the local dump at the wood pile, you're sure to find a desk and maybe even a half decent chair.

erm im not sure if ive ever had 125 pounds on it ,
i used to have an old 17" crt monitor and that black stero amp that you can see in the bottom right on it and it wouldnt wobble so i suspect it should be fine

i think it would be fine anyway because the add on unit which is designed to be sat on top weighs 50lb
