Hey guy,
I am looking at upgrading my computer although i dont have a clue of what type etc.....??? I am trying to stay on the cheapest budget possible, so kept it at a reasonable price!!

What do you all recommend???? CPU, Graphics card etc.... and where would be a good place to order it from??? (In Australia)

It going to be for general use as well as a bit of gaming...... but mainly for internet, movies and a few games such as WOW, Doom ect

Budget? Kind need a rough guess on the budget. "The cheapest budget possible" doesn't say much.

I'm trying to build a budget gaming computer as well, but mine looks like it will end up well over $600 even if I keep the same case and hard drive...

im lookin to spend $300 to $700 though i want the cheapest best system i can get..... if that makes sence!!

Yeah I'm keeping the same cd and dvd drives. I might end up getting a seagate barracuda 80GB hard drive ($64) if I can sell some of my old stuff on ebay.

acottenham do you want me to post what I'm thinking about getting to see if it helps you out any?

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103539

Mobo... not sure yet. Will probably be around $75-80 though.

Hard Drive:

Video Card:

Memory will be one of the following (haven't decided yet):

Case (there's a good chance this will change):

Sadly the CPU has gone up $20 in the last couple days, it was a lot more attractive at $279 lol. At least the video card went down $5 today.
