Is the Edimax EW-7728In 802.11n PCI WiFi Card a wireless router or adapter. If not a router does anyone know of pci cards that are wireless routers for a desktop computer

It's an adapter.
I don't think you will find a PCI router.
Just get a sleek and sexy Linksys router.
Put it on your case, not only does it work flawlessly, but it will IMPROVE the look of your workstation with it's looks.

I am with Tiscali boradband which means I need a router with RFC 2364 PPPoA compatibility on it. Ive tried that router before and it didnt so at the minute I have a Linksys WUSB54GS-UK Router which is rather big and constantly loses connection!
