well.. i put in a x850xt... seemed to work perfectly after that.. the gpu is completely messed up.. i lent it to a friend and he says he cant even start up the computer..

speaking of which.. does ur computer not start up properly sometimes and beep with a blank screen? cuz if it does that.. like 3 consecutive beeps.. or 2 or something.. means ur gpu and you are out of luck ;(

Well the video problem is fixed. He just mentioned it thinking it might be related to the current problem. Anyway, try new RAM. I'm willing to be that that is what is causing the problem.
