Default Compatibility Question.

Hey all, I've recently decided to upgrade the GFX card in the computer I received from my mom about 2 years ago, but I'm not for sure if what I'm ooking at is compatible with my mobo or how to tell if its compatible. I'm about to buy

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.431620

to install it on a HP pavilion a6500f. Here is an online specs sheet to this computer: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-...=mncolBtm;rnav

I would just like to know if the card and powersupply would work in this type of computer and why. Thanks for any help in advance I really appreciate it.

Both those products will work. You have a spare PCI-E slot on the motherboard for the graphics card and the PSU slots in where the old one was.

The Corsiar PSU is great but you could go for a 650W version.
