I'm not familiar with AMD, is this:

I don't, I prefer Intel. But some people I know prefer AMD and they were asking me questions and I didn't know, so I asked here.

Edit: Also, are SATA/150, SATA/300 and SATA 3.0Gb/s all compatible with a mobo with SATA 1.5Gb/s?

Yes, it is. But try to stretch for a 780G board if you can.
