Default Compatability Question

Hey guys i am putting together a new system for my music studio, since my old one died a few weeks ago. This is what i have in mind so far.

ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

Power sup.
Antec earthwatts EA500 ATX12V v2.0 500W Power Supply 100

if you can give me some advice what you think of it. And if everything is compatible. I read some good reviews about the mboard and the processor. But i am a little worried about the compatability of all the parts.

Power supply ok? And how is the cooling on the M-board with that processor. Sufficient or not?

thanks a lot guys !!
