Default comparison question AMD Semptron 3000+ processor 128KB L2 Cache vs P4

really need some straight-forward comparison

of
AMD Semptron 3000+ processor (1.80 Ghz, 128KB L2 Cache, 1600 MHZ System bus)

and a P4 2.4 ghz 512K cache and 533 FSB

the P4 i currently have .. and have had for the last 4 years .....

the SEMPTRON is something i was looking at that i just happened to run across for 250.00 and it looked interesting enough ...

i do mostly day to day activities ..... alot of video burning / audio burning

not much gaming .. so graphics really are a moot piont

am i going to see much of a difference in the every day duties and program exececution ?

thanx in advance
