Default Comp Upgrade

I have a really old Socket A AMD computer and i'm going to upgrade it (Cpu, Mobo, Ram, Power Supply.) here are the parts i chose:

Mobo.

Cpu.

Ram

PSU.

Now i've never installed a cpu into a motherboard, every build i've done the cpu was included in with the motherboard is it really that hard? Also the case is really small, it kinda looks like this. Would the newer mobo fit in that?

As long as the case isn't a micro ATX case, the motherboard should fit. CPU installation is a snap.

No, the CPU will only drop in one way so you can't get it wrong, make sure you clean the CPU's IHS and the cooler's base with isopropyl alcohol before applying the thermal paste.

Is it a uATX case. The motherboard is an ATX form factor. Check the mesurements of the motherboard tray in your case and compare.

EDIT: I see Atomic Rooster beat me to it, damn you slow fingers!
