Default comp build help

ok. my freind needs a pc and im building it for him. all he is playing on it is runescape and CS and i need to know how to build it. i already know how to build a water cooling and stuff but air cooling is kinda new. for the processor witch is a amd 3500 venice core what kind of thermal paste should i put on it or should i put on a thermal pad? and how do i clean it i was looking for cleaning solution but they didnt have any. hes looking to spend 700 dollars shiped with os and office. is a 50 dollar gigabyte mobo ok? ill get exact specs tommorow.

lol yea i had my super pcs built because i didnt want to so i got some cash and boom. now my freind wants a acrlyic case and stuff so how would i go about doing this? he already ordered the parts but hasent deceided on either thermal pad or paste. and what do i clean the processor with on the amd intro on how to do it it say si have to clean it.
