yeah, if it's in your price range, go with a dual core. you wouldn't be dissapointed, and it wouldn't be too much more money than the 3800. i would go with a dual core 3800

Thanks for your comments, although i havnt looked at the dual cores, i will endevour to do that right now.....once again...thanks :)

Matt

i would get a motherboard from a more well known brand because ive never heard of that one...try asus or dfi or msi, also it would be a good idea to go with AM2 since its newer and will last u longer, one more thing, amd is cutting their prices some time in july so it would be good to wait until then

I agree with gaming_freak, all the AMD prices are taking some dramatic drop on July 24th..ish, so, wait until then, and either go with the Dual Core, and buy some more parts with the money left over, or just go all out, on an AM2. I like the second option :D

Edit> That board looks dodgy, there's not enough components on there for me, I dont like it!

AM2 if you want the latest out in whihc i believe you can have DDR2 memory with it but like ^^ have both said wait until July 24th and then you might be able to afford the next model up

I wonder what the next model up is going to be like, I can't wait, my birthday is just before July 24th, so Im building a new one :)

Hey Guys,

Thanks for your help, the only reason i looked at an ECS motherboard was because that is what im using at the moment and have had nothing but excellent quality with it....as for the price decending, by how much is this said to mean does anyone know?

Thanks,

Matt
