Ahhh, the Dell Inspiron e1505. You know, I was thinking about buying that too. I was checking out their site last night. This Compaq one I got is a piece of crap and I so regret getting it. I would say it's a good deal for those specs and especially if it was brand new since the package has never been opened. You didn't get ripped off.

I have a Compaq presario 2100. It was giving me alot of problems...then i uninstalled norton antivirus(the most useless program on earth), which my friend suggested, and that I should just use spybot search and destroy and AVG. Now it only rarely freezes up but i still would like a new laptop. Norton is practically a virus with the amount of RAM is uses, and the lack of productivity.

Do not use norton and your computer will be noticeable faster, etc.
