Arrow Command Prompt

Hi i cant get into cmd prompt it says that it is diable by the administartor press any key to exit. Is there any other way to get into it? apart from run - CMD or going to its dir??

log into an Admin account and then try again

Just go to the control panel > users
Under your name check properties, if you don't have administrator priority, create a new account administator and log in as administrator.
Yes, the command prompt is useful; you can get your ipconfig, you can chkdsk and what else.......

we found a way at school. they disabled direct access to the executeable so u make a shortcut to it using right click, for some reason they couldnt disable us from doing that and it would still access the prompt, but that was for Windows2KPro so im not sure about XP, but give that a go, we also did it to other drive letters and found heaps of others, some we werent supposed to know about too!!!

I got into command prompt by going to notepad and typing "command" and then saving it as cmd.BAT and i comes on to command prompt
