Yes, it would, but as you can get the Corsair XMS2 kit for the same price, I'd recommend that.

yes i probably will be doing gaming, and im using my lcd tv as my monitor so 720 X 480

Wow, that's a pretty low res. I think it would definitely be worth it to invest in a cheap 19" CRT of Ebay or something so you can enjoy PC gaming to the full and not have your games look like they would on the console.
